Can I get delivery on a specific date?

For many items, but not all, yes you can!

Each Maker (seller) on Yumbles sets their own shipping options and timescales depending on the service they can provide.

For most Makers, you can select a later and specific delivery date at checkout than their default delivery timescales.  

If this is available, you will see the text “Advance ordering available” on the product page, just below the price.

For some Makers offering Advance Ordering, the later date that you select at checkout may also be a guaranteed delivery date, depending on the shipping option you choose.

This distinction will be clearly indicated at checkout.  

See this example of an item where the Maker offers two shipping options, each with advance ordering possible, but only the Tracked Express Delivery option enables you to pick a guaranteed delivery date:

 

 

Otherwise, if guaranteed delivery is not possible for a shipping option (like the Standard Delivery in the example above), any later date you pick will be an "Estimated delivery".

In this case the date you select is an Estimate only and not guaranteed - the Maker will aim to send it as close to the date you have selected as they can. Most do arrive on the date you request, however you should allow for 1–2 days leeway either side of your selected date. 


 

Can't pick the date you want?

If a seller has Advance Ordering available, the dates you see at checkout to select from are the dates they offer delivery.  

Some sellers for example do not deliver on Mondays so you will see those dates not possible to select. Or they may have some particular dates they are not fulfilling orders.

The dates you can select at checkout are all that are available for the item you are interested in.
