When you cancel your membership, your refund entitlement is automatically calculated in line with the cancellation terms and conditions (see here).
The amount of refund depends on:
- the delivery savings you’ve received in the current membership year, and
- the number of months (or part months) you’ve had the membership for in the current membership year. A monthly pro rata membership fee applies for every full or partial month that has passed.
Calculation
Your refund is calculated as:
- Annual membership fee paid
- LESS your total delivery savings this membership year
- LESS the monthly pro rata fee for each month you’ve had the membership for in the current year
The exact monthly fee used depends on the price of the membership when you originally signed up.
Example
Let's say you are cancelling your membership 6 months into your current membership year, and you have saved a total of £15 on delivery charges so far in this current year.
So the refund is calculated as:
- £31.20 Annual Membership fee
- LESS £15.00 delivery savings
- LESS £15.60 pro rata monthly fee (6 x £2.60)
= £0.60 refund
When do I get my refund?
Once you complete cancellation of your membership in your Yumbles account, your refund will be automatically and immediately sent to your bank.
Please allow up to 10 working days for your bank to process it back into your account.
